OVERALL
It?s hard to see a line like this and not be impressed. The sculpting is top-notch, the painting is very well done, and the accessories match the characters well. Though this series has it?s fair share of problems (Zombie 2?s eyes and instability, Cyber 2?s ball hip joint, and each figures? limited posability); McFarlane Toys Spawn Series 28: Regenerated is one of the most unique and original lines so far this year. Fans have been asking for some of these figures for quite a while and with the Collector?s Club Urizen figure selling for astronomical prices on Ebay, the Series 28 boxed set is a reasonable alternative for Uri fans (I actually modified mine to be a stand alone figure). Fans of the oriental-looking Mandarin Spawn will probably like Mandarin Spawn 2 and he?s sure to make the ?Top 10? on a lot of fans? lists this year.
